South India in its most luxurious, curated and immersive form — blending ancient temple heritage, French-colonial charm, coastal drives, hill serenity and the world-famous Kerala backwaters. The journey runs down the Coromandel Coast from Chennai through Mahabalipuram and Pondicherry, into the great Chola temple towns of Thanjavur and Madurai, across the Pamban Bridge to the sacred island of Rameswaram and on to Kanyakumari at the very tip of India. It then crosses into Kerala for Kovalam’s beaches, two nights of backwater luxury at Alleppey or Kumarakom, and a final flourish of colonial heritage in Fort Kochi. Arrive at Chennai International Airport and meet your GoJoy representative. Begin along the scenic East Coast Road with optional stops at DakshinaChitra cultural village and the Madras Crocodile Bank, continuing to Mahabalipuram. Evening sightseeing of the Shore Temple at sunset, the Pancha Rathas and Arjuna’s Penance, then a beach promenade walk. Overnight in Mahabalipuram.
