Overview

A 2-night spiritual journey through Varanasi and Sarnath — sunrise Ganges boat, the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, Kashi Vishwanath darshan and Buddhist Sarnath.

Arrive in Varanasi (Kashi) — one of the world's oldest continuously lived-in cities — and step straight onto the ghats: Manikarnika, Panchganga and Harishchandra. Take an evening boat on the Ganges, then witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Day two starts with Kashi Vishwanath darshan and continues through Annapurna, Vishalakshi, Kaal Bhairav, Durga, Sankat Mochan and Tulsi Manas Mandir. After lunch, drive to Sarnath where Buddha gave his first sermon — Mahabodhi tree, museum and ancient ruins. Day three: an optional sunrise boat ride before transfer to airport/station.
