Overview

A 5-night Eastern Himalayas circuit from Bagdogra — Gangtok with Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, Pelling's monasteries and the Skywalk, and Darjeeling's tea hills, Tiger Hill sunrise and Ghoom Monastery.

Pickup at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for the scenic drive into the Himalayan capital of Gangtok. Day two is an unforgettable excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, with optional Nathula Pass (subject to permit). Day three crosses to Pelling — peaceful mountain town with the best Kanchenjunga views in Sikkim. Day four covers Pelling sightseeing (Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, Helipad Ground, Pelling Skywalk) then continues to Darjeeling. Day five is Darjeeling local — the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoo, Tenzing Rock, Japanese Peace Pagoda, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, tea gardens and Tiger Hill sunset over Kanchenjunga. Day six returns to Bagdogra via Mirik.
