Overview

A two-week loop from Belgrade through seven countries — Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Albania, the Adriatic at Kotor and Dubrovnik, Mostar and Sarajevo, and the wild landscapes of western Serbia.

This fourteen-day circuit begins and ends in Belgrade and takes in seven countries along the way, blending headline cities with lesser-known corners. It runs south through Sofia and the mountain monastery of Rila, across North Macedonia to lakeside Ohrid, and into Albania and its capital, Tirana. Reaching the Adriatic, it follows the coast through Montenegro's Bay of Kotor and the Croatian gem of Dubrovnik, then turns inland to Mostar and Sarajevo. It finishes with the wild scenery of western Serbia — the Šargan Eight mountain railway and the famous little house on the river Drina — before returning to Belgrade. A comfortable, fully guided small-group tour of no more than fifteen.
