Overview

A ten-day loop from Belgrade through Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia — Zagreb, the Plitvice Lakes, the Dalmatian coast at Split and Dubrovnik, the Bay of Kotor and the old bridge at Mostar.

This ten-day journey pairs the great cities of the western Balkans with the finest stretches of the Adriatic coast. From Belgrade you cross into Croatia for the capital, Zagreb, and the waterfalls of Plitvice, then follow the Dalmatian shore through Roman Split to the walled city of Dubrovnik. In Montenegro you sail the fjord-like Bay of Kotor to the island church of Our Lady of the Rocks, before turning inland through Bosnia & Herzegovina to Mostar's famous bridge and the living history of Sarajevo. Travel is in a small group of no more than fifteen, fully guided, with comfortable hotels throughout.
